Those requiring a sowing machine will learn how to obtain one for nothing by perusing an advertisement in another column. Mr F. Sanders of Cambridge has a notice in our advertising columns stating that he has opened in the store formerly occupied by Mr Isaacs in Duke-street, where he intends carrying on the business of a general storekeeper in nil lines except grocery and provisions. He intends doing a cash business, and all goods »ro marked in plain figures, He will sell on commission for tho following firms :—Messrs Garlick and Cranwell of Auckland, Mr Hatrick of Hamilton, ane Mr Fleming of Auckland. The furnituro ot Messrs Garlick and Cramvell and boots of Mr Fleming, respectively, will bo sold at Auckland prices, with the bare cost of carriage added. Mr Hat rick's stock is marked very low and contains many linns that have hitherto been unobtainable in Cambridge. Mr Sanders will also carry on the business of bootmaker and repairer, and will doubtless do good business.
