Vesterijav.—(Before Captain Jackson, R.M.) A Further Waste of Time. Kkki.ht v. Hall and Othkhs.— I This case, which had been adjourned from a former Court, occupied the. whole day, several civil cases and another criminal case having to be adjourned in consequence. Sir W. Wastneys referred to a letter that had been written to The Waikato Times by Giles IvKfiley, and .said it was a contempt of Court. The It. M. thought the letter should not have been written, but did not think it was contempt. Several smart passages occurred between the respective lawyersSir \V. Wastneys and Mr Dyer—and Capt. Jackson had frequently to set them right. The case was eventually adjourned until 3rd May. __________
