(Br ELECTRIC TKI.EGItAPH—COPYRIGHT.) Melbourne, March 27. Dr, Bosk, member for Melbourne North in the last. Parliament, is instituting pro-ce-dings aeainst the Age for a libellous advertisement publiahed'by that paper in connection with the present election campaign. The advertisement referred 10 some recent divorce proceedings in which Dr. Rose was co-respondent. The damages are laid at £5 000. Hobakt, March 27. During the stay of the s.s. Wairarapa, Sir \V. Jen-ois inspected the defences, and was highly pleased with the Maxim gam Brisbane, March 27. Splendid rains have fallen in many of thn pastoral districts, which have greatly benefited from the downfall.
