Raglan Races

The annual and popular race meeting, under the patronage of the Raglan Jockey Club, took place on Friday, March 22nd, on the grounds of the Club opposite the township. The weather was fine throughout the day and a very large concourse of people assembled from all parts of the Raglan and Waikato districts. The arrangements were carried out in a most satisfactory manner by the committee, viz., Mr Sutton, judge; Mr Somerset, secretary ; Messrs Mathias, (Jarr and Burgess, handicappeis ; Mr T.
