Paterangi v. Tuhikaraniea. A vkuy enjoyable match between the above clubs was played in Mr Vickers'paddock at ruhikaramea on Saturday last, resulting in an easy victory for the visiting team. Tuhikaraniea winning the toss elected to bat, but were- all nut within an hour for 51. Goble 10 and John MeMicken 1] got into double figures. After lunch Paterangi was on the defensive, and lost that usually certain bat, Mr Graham, without scoring, but thanks to Mr Goodfullow who made 51 by good sound cricket, and never giving a single chance to the Hold, until well taken by Daley at mid-off. Richdale got iuto double (igwu-s by a well-played -3, and the innings closed for 102. Tuhikaramea's second innings resulted 38, thus allowing Paterangi to win in an innings with 13 runs to spare. Messrs Reid and Richdale did good work at short stop for their respective sides, letting very few byes.
