First Race to Start at 12 noon Sharp. PROGRAMME. 1. FLYING STAKES HANDICAP, of 20sovs. Distance, six furlongs. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 10s. 2. HANDICAP HURDLES, of 35sovs. Over eight nights 3ft Gin hurdles. Sweep of 20s for starters, to go to second horse. Distance, 2 miles. Nomination, 15s ; acceptance, 20s. 3. NOVEL RACE, of 25sovs. The winner to become the absolute property of the Club, and to be sold immediately after the race; w.f.a. Distance, 7 furlongs. Entry, 255. 4. AUTUMN HANDICAP, of 50sovs. Winner of any race of the advertised value of £50 after the declaration of the weights to carry 51bs extra ; of any two such races, Sib extra ; penalties not cumulative. Sweep of 20s for starters to go to second horse. Distance, miles. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 30s. 5. SELLING HURDLES, of 20sovs. Over six flights 3ft 6in hurdles, 4-year-olds to carry llst;syrs, 11st 12ib; Cyrs and aged, 12st 41b. Winner to be sold immediately after the race for £50. If entered to be sold for £40 allowed 71b ; if for £30, 141b, if for £20, 211b ; if for £10, 281b ; if for nil, 351b. Distance, \h ; miles. Entry, 20s. 6. SETTLERS' RACE, of lOsovs. For horses that have never started for any advertised race, and that have been the bona fide property of the owner for at least two months before day of entry. Sweep of 5s for starters to go to second horse. Distance, 1 mile and a distance. Welter weight for age. Gentlemen riders. Entry, 10s. 7. NOVEL HACK RACE, of 15sovs. The winner to become the absolute property of the Club, and to be sold immediately after the race. Weight-for-age. Distance, 1 mile and a distance. Entry, los. 8. HANDICAP PONY RACE, of 10 sovs. For ponies of 14 hands and under. Sweep of 5s for starters, to go to second horse. Distance, I mile and a distance. Nomination, 5s ■ acceptance, ss. CONDITIONS. Nominations for Flying Stakes, Handicap Hurdles, Autumn Handicap and Handicap Pony Race to be made to the Secretary, Hamilton, Waikato, at or before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27th. Weights to appear on or about Aprii 3rd. Acceptance to be declared before 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th. Nominations for Novel Race, Selling Hurdles, Settlers' Race, and Novel Hack Race to be made to the Secretary before 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th, day of general entry. Five per cent, to be deducted from all stakes, to go to " improvement of the coiy.e. No nominations or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever after time named, or without being accompanied WITH THE NECESSARY AMOUNT OF CASH. The attention of owners is particularly called to this regulation. Settler's Race for horses owned by residents within the four counties of Piako, Waikato, Waipa and Raglan. Ponies must be ready to go under the standard one hour before advertised time of starting the race, and the heights to be sent in with nominations.
