In produce the supplies have been large, and values all l" >uml are unchanged, but in fruit there is a marked improvement, and an unsatisfied demand exists for soft kinds. In poultry the supply has been beyond the usual, and prices have boon lower. Pigs: All pons tiiled : prices still keep up for good lots. Potatoes have sold more freely at auction at l.ite values, and a steady demand exists fur really Rood lots, but inferior are difficult to quit. Onions have been in larger supply ; d smand is strong, values unchanged. Vegetables : No alteration. Oats sell freely at late limitations, and the tendency is slightly upward. Jivan and sharps show a rise in value. Maize : No alteration. Wheat: Values unchanged. Fresh butter has Himieivhat impiovod in price; supply short. Eggs show a heavy rise ; supply short of requirements. Cheese : Values unchanged. Honey slow of sale. Bacon and hams of good quality are scarce. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report, by cable, under date, London - , March 15:—-New Zealand wheat has declined Gil per 49(ilb. since last report. Off-coast cargoes, f.a.q., havo also declined Gd per -ISOlb. Tallow has declined 2s since last report. Tho market is very weak, being depressed by tho monetary crisis in France. New Zealand butter is woith 1 IPs per cwt. for lino qualities.
