[ry telegraph—press association. I WELLINGTON, Monday. Mr McOoghlan, Government Statist, IN'ew •South Wales, has furnished the Press Association with advance sheets of tables attached to his report, from which the deficit in wheat is calculated. They show the colony never produced more than 5,895,544 bushels, while this year the yield is only estimated at 1,573,000 bushels. The mean consumption of ten years is (>7 bushels per head, showing 7,424,000 bushels will be wanted in ISS9. To tho difference between the two :iui <iints must be added i>62,000 bushels for seed, which gives an estimated deficiency of 0,413,000 bushels.
