Mkssus A. Buokland and Sons' Whkkly Repout.—During the past week foddar has been plentiful ; prices have ranged from Is Dd to 2s 3d the cwt. The new crop of oats is now being offered, and prices have fallen in consequence; prices have varied with quality from 2s to 2s 4d the bushel. On Friday horse stock in full numbers kept their value, useful hacks bringing from £7 to £12, and a spring cart £(> 10s. On Tuesday hide maintained their late values. Ox from 3.1(1 to Ud ; cow, 2.{d and 2Jd the lb. ; pelts, !)d to 2s each; bones, £1 17s (id the ton ; longwool. in bags, (>.', d ; lino wool, the lb. On Wednesday a property, having a frontage of 08 feet to the Ponsonby Road, was sold by auction for £000 cash. A", Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle wero in full number ; ordinary cattle at lata values, but choice milkers were better worth. A half-bred Alderney, at calving, sold for £8 7s (id; other cows, from £3 5s to £4 10s. Ktore cattle in inquiry at lato values, Fat cattle in full numbers; last week's values ; from 13s to 15s the lOOlbs. was obtained, and prices were lowest at conclusion of sale. Sheep abundant, and at lower prices. One draft of 250 wero withdrawn, yet the balance were lower about Is each, and a dull sale. Lambs, in usual nu,Tiber, sold well ; shorn, from 7s to !)s ; in their wool, 7s to 12s each. Pigs in moderate supply, of good quality; sold satisfactorily. Mhssus Huntkk and Nolan's Wkkkly Ilnpoivr.—Horse feed, grain, and seeds have been ample for requirements. Tho demand has been steady, with little or no alteration in value. We quote: Feed oats, from 2s 3d to 3s 4d per bushel ; Tartarian, 2s 3d to 2s 9d ; Dun. 2s 3d to 2s (id ; bran, £4 10s to £5 per ton ; chaff, £1 10s to £2 10s. Horses: An average number have been brought forward, and found purchasers, the demand for all stamps being stronger, although there has been no noteworthy alteration in actual prices paid. About the usual number were submitted by auction ; competition was brisker than has been the case for soino time, and there remained an unsatisfied demand for hacks and light harness horses. We quote: Hacks, from £;> to £12; light harness horses, £5 10s to £12 ss. Wool, hides, skins, and tollow: Large quantities were pitched at the Durham Yards on Tuesday, and the demand was brisk. We quote: Ox hides, 3Jd to 4Ad per lb. ; cow, Id l.jd to ; calf skins, 3fd to 5d ; sheep skins, 2s 8d to 3s Gd each ; lamb skins, Is to 2s Id; pelts, 4d to Is 2d ; longwool, in bales, 6Jd ; in bags, Gd to Old ; lambs wool, to ; tallow, 12s to IGa (id per cwt. Cattle wero brought forward in increased numbers, but sates were effected at tho previous week's values for dairy aud store stocks, but fat beasts receded a shade. There was rather a large number yarded at both Newmarket on Tuesday, and Pnkekohe on Wednesday, and a good attendance of buyers. Dairy and store stock were steadily competed for, but the butchers were unwilling tii Rive tho previous week's prices for fat stocks, and values fluctuated from l is to 16s per 1001b. Some averages were : Steers, £4 2s (id, £4 17s (id, £5 Is, £5 Gs 6d, £0 7« 6d, £5 His Gd, £6 os ; cows, £3, £3 ss, £3 12s sd, £3 17s Gd, £4 10s £(J ss. Sheep : Tho Newmarket pens were completely filled on Tuesday, and there was a steady demand throughout. The competition for stores was brisk. No young ewes wero disposed of, and there remained an unsatisfied inquiry. Ewes t-old at from lis to !)s each, Store lambs sold readily at from lis 3d to Bs. Superior rams sold at from 12s to £1 10s each, and we sold privately Lincolns at from 3 guinea* to five guineas each ; merinos, three to four guineas each. Fat wethers sold at from 10s (id to 13s lid; ewos, '.Is to lis oach ; fat lambs, 10s each. Pigs were more plentiful than of lato. Dairy-fed sold at 3d per lb, live weight; stores, from 2d to 2jd per lb. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Mhlbouiinh, March 14.—Tho placements of whaet aggregated 40,000 bags yesterday, besides nearly 5000 auctioned. The sales made up to 5s lOd, aud lis is asked for. Adklaidk, March 14.—Wheat, firm, ss, at Port Adelaide, 4s Od to 4s lOd at outp'irts. Roller flour, £11 5s to £12 ; stone, £11.
