Wesusvan Anxivkhsauy Skuvicb.— Mγ W. P. Griffiths, father of tho Krtv. Mr Griffiths, WeKleyan clergyinui at To Awumutu, who has arrived from England by way of India on a visit to his son, will preach the. anniversary Hcrmuna of thn Wonleyan Clmrch luu-o on Sunday, 17th inst., morning and evening. Mr Griffiths was here some six years ago and gave a very interesting account in Tun AVaikato Timks of n trip to the Hl>t Lakn di.-trict, entitled a " Cruiso on Wheels." Flo also preached in Hamilton when in Waikato, und no doubt many of his hearer* on the former occasion will be pleased to hear him again. Soikkk and CoxcuiiT.—The anniversary soiree and concert in connection with the Wesleyan Church will be held in the hall here on Wednesday next, when a number of ladies and gentlemen of well-known musical talent will sing. A few short addresses suitable to the occasion will also be delivered by clergymen and friends.
