Melbourne, March 7._ Margaret Fitzgerald and Mrs Curtis, her sister, have been arrested on a charge of murder, arising out of a case of concealment of the birth of an infant. Both accused recently arrived from New Zealand. William Harrison, for the murder of John Duggan at Elmore, will be executed on the ISth. The sentence of death on Mreditli, Hatty, Wren, and Minogue, for criminal assault on a woman at Studley Park, has been commuted, the first-named three being imprisoned for 12 years with two floggings, the last-named seven years and ouellogging. Syeney, March 7. A passenger by the Rockhampton from Fiji during the voyage, was robbed of a portmanteau, with 30 sovereigns, 30 Napoleons, £200 worth of diamonds, and letters of credit for £1000. March 8. The Auckland schooner Goel lias been wrecked at Anollicolo Island. Adelaide, March 8. Wheat has advanced, and 5s is now offered, but holders show no inclination to sell. _______^___
