(by telegraph.—press association). Wellington, Wednesday. A slight shock of earthquake was felt at 12.25 this afternoon. It was felt more severely at Woodville, Fielding and Palmerston. Riaoux, a Woodville settler who has been missing, has turned up safely. A public meeting of leading citizens this afternoon endorsed the proposition of the City Council to entertain the Governor, Lady Jervois and family at luncheon on Saturday afternoon, previous to their departure.
