PIGOTT.
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) London, March 4 Pigott shot himself in Madrid, the bullet scattering the skull. A letter found in his pocket addressed to Mr Labouchere confirmed his confession and expressed regret that he had injured Mr Parnell and others. When the warrant for his arrest was read Pigott said " All right," and immediately shot himself, dying instantaneously. A letter was found among Pigotfc's effects addressed to Mr Labouchere, stating that the writer would conform to Mr Labouchere's instructions. It is supposed that important documents relating to Pigott are concealed somewhere in Ireland. From the tenor of the telegram received by Pigott suspicion has arisen that an agent of the Times was privy to his escape.
