The Customs revenue for March shows a satisfactory increase, and for the month there is a surplus of £45.000 over the Estimates, March 4 Cohen, the broker, who was tried and acquitted on a chargy of selling land which he did not possess, is suing the prosecution for £10,000 damages for false imprisonment, Sydney, March 4. The Kenihvorth, from Osborne, had a narrow escape of a collision on the night of February 25th with a large steamer steering in the direction of Cook Strait.
