Lord Ailesbury's divorce action against his wife has been settled out of Court. Mr Goscheu is completing the conversion of consols. Mr Carew, M.P., has been sentenced to four months for inciting, and like O'Brien refused to wear the prison garb. The Times is applying to have the action brought by Parnoll in Dublin dismissed, pending the result of the Scotch action. Ottawa, February '24. Tho Dominion House of Commons has rejected the resolution arrived at for the prohibition, production or sale of liquors in the Dominion, by a majority of 40.
