The relatively high price now ruling fur wheat almost precludes any export business to the I'liited Kingdom, although we hoar of a small parcel of a few bandied tons being purchased for shipment by the " Sobraon " direct to London at a low rate of freight. The demand for flour, both for local consumption and intercolonial use, has been \er.y limited for tho season, and it is probable that before the c10..e of another mouth, unless some decided change lor the better occurs, prices [or the manufactured article, will recede. Wheat is in n'.rong demand for all good milling parcels up to Is (i'.d. I >ats : The demand is dull in a falling market. We quote up to 4s for prime New Zealand, ( >d to '.kl or medium to good \ ictorian, and Calcuttas 3s to 3s 3d.
