McKay, the seaman who was arrested on the charge of causing the death of another, a Swede named Andrew Nelindcr, by stabbing during a quarrel in the street has been acquitted and discharged from custody. Among the mails destroyed in the train which caught lire were one bag for Adelaide and one for Hobart, both from Auckland. Melisol'KNK, February 15.
