In conformity with Section 75 of " The Road Boards Act, 1882," it is hereby publicly notified that the Matamata Road Board propose, at a meeting of the said Board, to be held at the office of the Board, Matamata, at '2 p.m. oil MONDAY, the *2jth day of February next, to make the following Special Order. SPECIAL ORDER. "That this Board, by 'Special Order' now made, do, in accordance with the provisions of ' The Road Boards Act, 1882,' ' The Local Bodies Loans Act, ISSO,' and of 'The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, ISSfi,' make a SPECIAL RATE of onetenth OF A PENNY- IN THE £ over all ratable property within the Matamata Road District, exclusive of Crown and Native Lands, such rate to be an annually-recurring rate, payable half-yearly, at the office of the Board, on the Ist day of January ami the Ist day of July iii each year for twenty-six years, the first of such payments to be made on tin: Ist day of January, 1890 ; the said rate to bo pledged as security for the payment of interest accruing upon the sum of £850, borrowed under the provisions of the said Acts."
