PRINCE RUDOLPH.
[BY TELEGUAIMI.—PHK.SS ASSOCIATION.J Vienna, January 81. Persistext reports are current tliut Prince Rudolph committed suicide. The Nftue Freie Press-, one of the leading political and commercial newspapers, has been seized by the authorities for publishing a description of the deceased's body. The funeral will take place on the sth. but no foreign princes will attend. February 1. An oflieial announcement appears in the Vienna Gazette to the effect that Prince Rudolph committed suicide with a revolver. The body had one shot in the head. The Archduke Charles has renounced his right to succeed Prince Rudolph in favour of Archduke Ferdinand. It is rumoured in the city that Emperor Francis Joseph is likely to abdicate. It is believed the Prince was temporarily insane. He left letters addressed to the Emperor, Empress, and his wife, Princess Stephanie.
