AQUATIC SPORTS, HAMILTON LAKE.

TllF.liE was a very fair gathering of the public at the Hamilton Lake on Tuesday lo witness the Hamilton Anniversary Aquatic sports. The weather was superb, and the water was quiet and remarkably clear. The committed had marked the course for the various events in a very complete manner, and as there were numbors of boats and canons on the. lake, tho scene presented a very lively appearance. There were several tents erected on the ground, which, with the buggies of the visitors, and Mr Hutt's brass band gave a brisk aspect to the affair. The races, especially tln.so of the junior competitors, were spiritedly contested, and afforded an exhibition of the progress made since hist year by Professor fannell's pupils.
