Rack Mkktixs.—A meeting of the. Committee ot the Te Ari'h.i Race Club took place ou Thursday evening, at the Hot Sp'ings Hotel. A letter from Mr M. Thompson* was rear), in which he states he thoroughly appreciated the honour which the club had done him, in electing him their president, anil promising to do what ho could to make their races a success- The date for the race meeting wan fixed for the 9th March, the races to start at l o'clock. A programme was drawn up comprising seven events, the total amount of money to be awarded being £102, more particulars of which may probabl; ppnnr elsewhere.
