At a meeting of the creditors of John Buchanan, he submitted an oiler of L'lo.UO) lor t.lio stock and book debts in bdls at three, six and nine months. In answer to a question, it was staled that the book debts were estimated to realise to.ooO, and the stock .tlo.oL'.l, making a total of i'IO,UOO odd. Mr Nathan said Buchanan's offer was equal to If is in the t. lie moved "That, providing Mr Buchanan makes an approved offer of 17s (id in the £ for the stock as per schedule within a week, it be accepted, and that otherwise the stock b.i sold by public auction.'' Mr Andrews seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously.
