A LETTER has been reeened by the Education ] Ifipartuieut from Mr Roger de Grey, of Ost.end, Belgium, stating that lie is engaged on a work entitled " I'lie Contemporary Literature of tin: Anglo-Saxon Race," and asking for books and reviews bearing on New Zealand literature from the foundation of tho colony till now t' help him in his work. The Department intend to afford Mr dc Grey every assistance they can.
