THE FREEZING COMPANY'S MANURES.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin,— Referring to your article of tho 3rd 111 st., animadverting on my remarks in connection witli this matter, I have carefully read over what 1 said on the occasion. lam unable to admit that my remarks bear the construction put upon them, but I regret exceedingly if they have conveyed that impression. You correctly surmise that at the time 1 was not aware of several testa having taken place. The Company was only in possession of tho fact that one adverse report, had been obtained from Canterbury, and you may easily imagine I then found it difficult to believe that some mistake in sampling had not occurred.—l am &c. Aimuat Bull, Chairman Frozen Meat St Storage Co.
