(BV TELEGKA I'll—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Friday. At the Supreme Court, Judge Gillies gave judgment in the case to determine to whom KSO4 in Mackay's estate should be paid. His Honour determined thuttho Public Trustee be ordered to pay over the amount in his hands to the trustees in the assignment of 187!), costs for all parties allowed on the higher scale, and to be chargeable against the estate.
Ruth, the infant daughter of William Buddie, of Cheltenham beach, fell into a tub of water and was drowned.
Henry James Ross, Captain of the Solvation Army, was lined five shillings and costs, for causing an obstruction in Victoriastreet by an open air Meeting, and not moving on when asked to do so. Ho declared he would not pay the fine.
At the Police Court, George Clime was committed for trial, for passing two forged cheques purporting bo signed by A. Buckland and Sons'.

A man named George Piggins was fined £4 and costs at the Police Court to-day, for gross cruelty to a dug. Ho seized the animal by the leg and threw it with full force against a house, and then killed it with a hammer.
