(my ki.hctiuc TiaKuiuPH.— oopyitifisn). London, December 18. Mk F. A. Chan.n ing, Member

for North Hants, in Committee of Supply, moved a reduction of £1,800 upon the salary ef Sir F. Napier Broom* , , Governor of Western Australia. He contended that the Governor was unlit for his duties by reason of Jits reckless and arbitrary use of the powers en trusted to him. Mr Bradlaugh protested against the treatment of Air Hensman, proprietor of the West Australian newspaper. Baron de Worms replied that the Government could not take notice of ex parte statements. There was no doubt Judge Onslow's conduct had been indiscreet. The vote passed without alteration.
