SATURDAY RETURN TICKETS will be issued from any station to any station, from Saturday, 22nd December, 18SS, to Wednesday, 2ud January, ISS9 (both dates inclusive), and will be available for return up to and including Tuesday, 15th January, ISB9. EXCURSION TICKETS TO AUCKLAND, available by any train, will be issued at the following stations from Saturday, 22nd December, 1888, to Wednesday, 2nd January, ISS9 (both dates inclusive), and will be available for return up to and including Tuesday, 15th January, IBS 9. Passengers from stations at which these Excursion Tickets are not issued will be able to take advantage of the Excursion bookings by taking out a Saturday return ticket to the nearest station (in the direction of Auckland), at which Excursion Tickcts are issuable.

TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. On Christmas Day, 25th December, trains will not run in the Waikato, with the exception of a train from Auckland to Cambridge, leaving Mercer at 9.40 а.m., Huntly 10.45, Ngaruawahia 11.15, Frankton junction, 11.50, Hamilton West 11.55, reaching Cambridge at 12.45 p.m., stopping where required to pick up or set down passengers. Saturday fares. BOXING DAY, -J'J.li DECEMBER. AUCKLAND RACES. A passenger train will leave Te Aroha at 545 a.m., Morrinsville 6.30, Cambridge 6.30, Te Ivuiti 5.15, Te Awamutu 6.35 ; Ohanpo 6.55, Hamilton West 7.20, Ngaruawahia, 8.5, Hnntly 8 35, Mercer 0.45 for Racecourse Platform and Auckland, reaching Auckland about 1-2.20 p.m, stopping where required to pick up or set down passengers. Fares as above. SPORTS AT HAMILTON, RACES AT HAUTAPU. A passenger train will leave Auckland for Hamilton West, Cambridge, and Te Aroha al 7 a.m, Mercer 0.40, Huntly 10.43, Ncaruawahia 11.5, Frankton I .function 11.40, Hamilton West arr. 11.44, Cambridge arr. 12.30 p.m, Te Aroha arr. 1.15 p.m, returning from Te Aroha at 5.30, Cambridge 6.5, Hautapu б.15; and Hamilton West at 7.3 p.m. This train will stop on the outward journey where required to pick up passengers for Hamilton, Hautapu, Cambridge, and Te Aroha, and on the return journey where required to set passengers down. Saturday fares. The following trains will not run :— 5.30 a.m Te Aroha to Frankton Junction, 0 20 a.m Cambridge to Ruakura Junction, 0.20 a.m Te Awamutu to Frankton Junction, 10.35 a.m Frankton Junction to Huutly, 11.40 a.m Auckland to Huntly, 5.25 p.m Huntly to Auckland. On Thursday, 27th December, the 1.40 p.m. train Frankton Junction to Te Awamutu will run as on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Friday. 28th December, the 9.20 a.m. train Te Awamutu to Frankton Junction will run as on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. On the 2Stli, the 2 7 p.m. train Ruakura Junction to Cambridge will run as on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. SATURDAY, 29tu DECEMBER. RACES AT HAMILTON. A train will leave Auckland for Hamilton at 7 a.m., Mercer 9.35, Huntly 10.43, Ncaruawahia 11.10, reaching Hamilton East at 11.50 a.m., returning from Hamilton East at 6.0, and Hamilton West at 6.5 p.m., stopping on outward journey where required to pick up passengers for Hamilton, and on the return journey where required to set passengers down. Saturday fares. The 9.20 a.m. train from Cambridge to Ruakura Junction will run as on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. A train will leave Frankton Junction for Cambridge at 535 p.m., Hamilton West 5.35, Hamilton East GO, reaching Cambridge at 6.40 p.m., stopping where required to pick up and set down passengers. A train will leave Frankton Junction for Te Kuiti at 6.20 p.m., Ohaupo 6.50, Te Awamutu 7.15, reaching Te ICuiti at 830 p.m., stopping where required to pick up and set down passengerspassengers from Hamilton for this train leave Hamilton East and West by the return Auckland train (see above), and transfer at Frankton Junction. The 2.7 p.m. train Ruakura Junction to Cambridge will not run. On Monday, 31st December, the 7.30 a.m. train from Te Kuiti to Frankton Junction will run as on Tuesdays and Saturdays. On the 31st the 2.55 p.m. train from Morrinsville to Te Aroha will run as on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. NEW YEAR'S DAY, Ist JANUARY, 1889. AUCKLAND RACES. A train for Racecourse Platform and Auckland, stopping where required to pick up and set down passengers, will run from Waikato stations at same times as on the 26th December, with the exception that it will not run from Cambridge. Fares as above. There will not be a train from the Cambridge branch on this date. The following trains will not run 7.30 a.m. Te Kuiti to Frankton Junction, 1.40 p.m. Frankton Junction to Te Awamutu, 11.40 a.m. Auckland to Huntly, 5.25 p.m. Huntly to Auckland. On Wednesday, 2nd January, the 9.20 a.m. train Te Awamutu to Frankton Junction will not run.
