"Messrs a. lSucKi.AXn and Son's Weekly Report.--At the Hayuiarket during the past week oaten sheaves of good quality have sold better ; meadow hay and straw at late values. On Friday there was a full muster of horses; Rood animals kept their value, but inferior were at lower prices; the racing mare, Ma Petite Fdle, was withdrawn, £40 being the highest offer. On Tuesday ox hides kept their value: cows, lower Jd the lb; coif and sheepskins at full values ; tallow, 13s «d to IBs Gd the I cwt. At the wool sale held on Wednesday between 500 and GOO bales were stackod, and all sold, but one lot of four bales, Bidding was brisk throughout the sale, prices obtained being similar to that at the first sale, or about 4 per lb bettor than last season. At the Waioku cattle sale on Saturday a limited number only were yarded ; good stores were in demand. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were in demand, and advanced in price fully 20s each. Store cattle in good request. Three-year-old steers brought up to £3 10s each. Fat cattle short of usual number, were at lower values about Is the 1001 bs; 14s the 1001 bs was the ruling price for good steers. Fat COW 3 maintained li.te values. Calves, in full number, were without alteration in price. Sheep, plentiful, were at last week's values. Lambs abundant; best lambs were lower in price, but medium and store lambs were better worth, as they were bought freely by tho graziers ; prices ranged from Gs to ils each. Figs, in limited number, sold satisfactorily. _ Messrs Hunter and Nolans Weekly Report.—Grain, horse feed, seeds: The improvement noted last week has continued. The demand has been brisk, but there has been no noteworthy alteration in values. Wo quote : Feed oats, 4s to 4s Gd per bushel; maize, 4s GJ per bushel; oaten chaff, £3 per ton ; bran, £7. Horses : A large number have been brought forward, and found buyers ; those of a good stamp found purchasers at the previous week's ■values, but weeds were a shade lower. A large number were entered for disposal by auction at the Durham Yards on Friday ; there was steady com petition, and most of the lots were cleared. Wo quote : Hacks, at from £•". to £10 10s ; light-harness horses, £7 to £12 10s; unbroken colts, suitable for quick heavy draught, £« 12s (id to £7 12s (id. Wool, hides, skins, and tallow: Largo qu.iiitit.ies woro pitched at the Durham Yards, on Tuesday, and there was a brisk demand. Dairy and store stock maintained their value, but fat beasts receded a little in price. There was an average muster at the Newmarket yards on Tuesday, but a large one at Papakura on Wednesday. Dairy cows maintained their value, and there was little or no noteworthy alteration in dairy or store stock. Fat stock hardly realised so much as on the previous week, and many pens changed hands at 15s por 1001 us. Sheep : There was a fair muster at Newmarket on Tuesday, with a steady demand. Shorn wethers sold at from 10s ild to 14s 3d ; lambs, (is <)d to lis 3d. Pigs: Very few penned ; pricos in favour of vendors, AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Sidney, December (J.—Wheat: Locally grown, 5s Sd ; New Zealand wheat, 5s 4d to 5s 6d, for best samples ; chick, 4s to 4s 3d. Milling oats, 4s (Id ; ordinary feed, 4s 3d to 4s 7d. There are no seed oats in the market. Maize is dull at from 4s to 4s 3d.
