THE BUTCHERS AND THE FREEZING COMPANY.
(by telegraph—OWN correspondent). Auckland, Friday. The butchers and Frozen Moat Company have lint yet settled their difficulties. The company have written asking the butchers to guarantee to take from them hindquarters of beef and roast beef to enable them to kill fifty bullocks weekly. They put down hind-quarters of beef at twopencc per pound, so longas beef is quoted at Ins per cwt. The. butchers seem unwilling to give this guarantee, having no assurance that their customers will take that quantity from them.
