The Sikhim expeditionary force is dispersing, but the garrisons will remain at Gnatong G.antok until peace is declared. It is stated that the French and llussian consuls at Novi Bazar are travelling about tlie districts of southern Bosnia, reiterating ~tVe assurance to the natives that Russia is their only friend. Strong gales throughout the United Kingdom continue with unliated fury. Many shipping casualties are reported. Madame Boulanger is about to institute divorce proceedings against her husband. Lord Knutsford and his son, while driving at Ipswich to-day, were thrown from a carriage, and both received rather severe injuries. During the stay of H.M.s. Nelson at Capetown, en route to Plymouth, midshipman Heath was accidentally shot. The second hatallion of the East Yorkshire Regiment has been ordered to proceed to Suakim. The Sultan has appointed Recheid Roy Turkish Imperial Commissioner at Sofia. Herr Wissman will shortly lead an expedition fr»m Zanzibar to Wadelai for the relief of Emin Bey. Dr. Peters will lead a second expedition. In order to prevent French espionage of the Sardinian defences, the Italian Government have prohibited French vessels to approach the Island of Madalenai. At the Paris Exhibition to be held next year Victoria has been allotted 11,500 feet of space and New Zealand 1500. The remaining space assigned for the British colonies has been absorbed.
Mr David Slieehy. M.P., Galway South, has complained that he was served by a constable with a summons within the precincts of tho House. On the motion of the Eight Hon W. H. Smith, a committee was appointed to inquire into the matter.

The French Chamber of Deputies gave a strong mark of their disgust of M. Wilson's articles charging members with corruption.
Algiers, November 26. A number of Italian workmen, who lia l recently been discharged, created a disturbance at Loehifra to-day. The riot became so serious thai the French troops, who were called out, fired on the mob, killing four and wounding many. A large number of arrests were made.
