The Waikato Tiiius Ojjice, Monday. AUCKLAND PRODUCE MARKETS. Mr Alexander Aitken's Market Report for the week ending 2-lth November shows a hoavy rise in nil kinds of farm and dairy produce and grain of all descriptions, the demand for all kinds being very active, and prices are rapidly rising. Forty tons of new potatoes, and upwards ot 35 tons of old ones, have been quitted at and above last week's quotations. Corned butter shows a considerable advance ; all prime on hand was privately sold in the early part of the week at G?jd, while that received at the latter end found quick sale at7id, and an advance on this price can now be obtained. Fresh butter was ill good supply; advance in price. Eggs in good supply ; heavy advance in value. Vegetables in large supply; prices good. Fruit: Large supply of gooseberries; no material change in value. Cheese: Large supply, but little unsold; prices show signs of an advance, but tho quality must be good. Poultry were entered in very large numbers, many selling off owing to tho high price of feed ; prices were rather irregular ; roosters sold high. Pigs: Greatly increased supply, but quality on the whole poor; those of fair breeding sold high, but inferior kinds were dull. Friday's market sale was largely attended throughout the day, with spirited competition.
