CRICKET.
A CRICKET match was played on Saturday, November 17th, in Mr Germann's paddock between the Pateraigi and Alexandra School boys. Alexandra won the toss, and put Paterangi in, who were all out for 33 runs, through the splendid bowling of T. Steele. Alexandra then went to the wickets, but were sonn disposed of for 15 runs, the Paterangi boys second innings closed for 43 runs, Alexandra G2 runs to win went to the wickets, but were all ovt for 10 runs.
