(BY TELEGRAPH—MESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRIS I'CHURCH, Wednesday. The ship Marlborough loads frozen mutton for the New Zealand and Australian Laud Company. She takes about 13,000 carcases of sheep. They will be slaughtered near the town and frozen aboard the vessel. Ten thousand sacks of Ashburton wheat have been sold at 4a per bushel (sacks extra). A large portion of the parcel is short-berried. Mr Louisson, the retiring Mayor of Christchurch, and Mr Langdown, exmayor of Sydenham, have been reelected.
