The exceptions are few. WAIKATO STOCK MARKETS. Mr J. McNicor, Rei'ohts—At. Ohaupo, on Tuesday, (he yards were moderately filled with cattle of a Rood class ; bidding dull, but nearly all stock sold at values obtained at previous sale. BUCKLAXII AN-I) SONS' WEEKLY Report.—At the Haytr.arket on Tuesday, November 13, bides were in usual supply, and good inquiry, Ox hides ranged from 3Adt<> ; cows, 2d to 2Jd ; calfskins, 4.pi to 4.'id the lb ; green ox hides, 20s to 23s (id each": pelts, 4d to !)d each ; tallow. 15s <M to 17s theewt ; sheepskins, in limited number, ranged from 2s lid to -Is 7d each ; pelts, 4d to Od each ; lambskins, Is 4d to Is 7d each ; Bags of wool, hock, and pieces, were in increased number. Wool brought from s : jd to 7-'.d. Hocks and pieces from ljd to 4kl thu lb. At llemuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were in short supply, and sold more freely. Store cattle of all classes were also better worth, Fat cattle, in full numbers, kept last week's values, from lis to His the lOOlbs. Drafts of good steers brought IV th-s lOOlbs. Fat sheep, in usual numbers, were slightly better worth. Shorn wethers sold from Us (id to 12a Od. Wethers in their wool, 13s to 17s each. Lambs, in full numbers, sold equally throughout the sale ; those killing from 3olbs to 451bs brought 7s lid each. House-fed pigs of moderate weight sold satisfactorily at fully 3d the lb ; killed but coarse pigs, whether fat or store, were at low prices.

Mksshs Hunter and Nolan's Avkkiu.y Rktout.--Horse feed, seeds, grain, &c. : There has been n steady demand, and feed oats have advanced in value, notwithstanding stocks are large. Wo quote : Seed oats, 33 per bushel; Tartarian, 3s ; maize, 2s 9d ; fowl's wheat, 3s Od ; bran, £5 per ton. Horses: There have been a few private sales at late values, but no auction sales were held on account of the holidays. Wool, hide», skins, and tallow: Above average quantities were pitched at the Durham Yards, and competition was spirited. We quote: Ox hides, 3.Jd to 4yd yier lb; cow, 2Jd to 3d; calfskins, 3jd to <l;',d per lb ; sheepskins, 2s to 5s lOd each ; pelts, 3d to 9d oach ; lambskins, Is to Is Sd each ; tallow, £13 to £lo per ton. Cattle : There has been a slightly improved demand, and prices for fat beasts had an upward tendency. Barely an average number of fat stock were yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday, but there was a good muster of dairy and store stock. Competition was steady throughout. Prices for fat beasts were a shade higher. Stores and dairy stock without alteration. A large number were brought forward at Pukekohe on Wednesday. The demand was steady throughout, and almost without exception lots were cleared at the previous week's values : Some averages of fat steers were £"> 10s, £4 14s (Id, £ti 2s, £0 15s. : A limited number wore penned atNewiuaiket on Tuesday—wethers in wool sold at from 13s to 17s (id ; shorn, from lis >)d to lis (id ; lambs, trom 7s to 10s lid each. Pigs: Those yarded were generally small, lowconditioned stores, which sold at low prices ; porkers sold at 3d per lb., live weight.

CHRISTCHURCH MARKETS. The New Zealand L ian and Mercantile Agency Company report under date, Christchnrch, November 2!) th :—Wheat: Although business has been greatly interfered with by the holidays, several parcels have changed hands on the basis of 3s lid for Tuscan, and 3s!>d to 3s lOd for Hunter's and Pearl, f.o.b Cable advices report the London market weaker, though prices show no variation. The brilliant weather experienced in England towards the end of September enabled farmers to secure a large Quantity of grain in fair condition and thus prevented the crops from being an almost total failure. Oats: An active demand from Australia, induced no doubt by the prevailing drought, has produced a firmer tone, and prices have advanced to 2s 3.} d for milling and stout feed, 2s 2M for good feed, and 2s Ud to 2s 2d for long oats and thin Canadians. At these quotations a good business has been passing.
