THE LONDON MURDERS,
[By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. 1 London, November 15. The police have made what they consider an important arrest. The prisoner is a well-dressed man and is believed to be identical with the mau who was observed in the neighbourhood of the scenes of the murders immediately preceding the time when the deeds were committed.
Tho Press, commenting- on the resignation of Sir Charles Warren, suggests that Mr Mathews, Home Secretary, should follow suit, in favour of some one more capable of administering tho Home Department.
