STATE-AIDED EMIGRATION
[BY ELECTRIC TKLKORAIMT.— COPYRIGHT. | London', Xovo'mber 13. Tub Boards) of Guardians of Leads, Manchester, and many other places, have presented a petition to Parliament in favour of self-supporting emigration. Mr AV. H. Smith said the intention of the Government was to set up a committee shortly to enquire into the different schemes of State colonisation.
