A woman occupying a house of ill-fame was found in l/ed, with her head coin pletely severed from the trunk. The bowels and breast were removed, and the limbs terribly hacked about, the cuts were clone in a professional manner, and there is but little doubt that a surgeon has been at work.
This murder is tlio most atrocious of the series and tremendous excitement prevails. The police are using bloodhounds to track tlio murderer. November 11, A free pardon lias been offered to anyone concerned in the Whitechapel murders, excepting the actual murderer, for such information as will lead to a conviction. A sailor lately returned from Sydney Ims been arrested on suspicion.
