The winner of any handicap over the value of £5 after the declaration of the starts may be re-handicapped for one or all of the three distances for the Cup. In all races any competitor leaving the mark before the pistol goes off to be penalised and put back in 100 yds. and 120 yds., 1 yard ; 200 yds. and 250 yds., 2 yards; 440 yds., 5 yards; 56Syds., 7 yards; £-mile, 10 yards; ] niile, 20 yards. Any competitor making three false starts will be disqualified. No qualification or acceptance fee for any race.
