A LADY MURDERED BY NIHILISTS.
Tiif, Bucharest correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph Company writes that II young and rich widow, Mdme. Matilda Jiosenfeld, of Moscow, had for (oms time been very intimately acquainted with t.ho doing's of the Nihilists iu that city. Frequently suspected meetings ha.l taken place iu her house, and it was placed under the supervision of the sacret. police. During a trial of Nihilists recently at St. Petersburg, Mdme. Rosenfeld was called an a witness. She appears to liavo betrayed important secrets, as immediately after her examination several arrests among young scions of the nobility were effected, both in Moscow and other towns. Five days ago this lady was found iu death in her own house. Tiio knife with which the crime was committed was left. It had engraved on it, " Vengeance to traitors." At the same time nil her privato correspondence was carried oil', as well as a sum ef 30,000 roubles.
