There are 30,000 Jews in London. The Jewish colony was first established in that city 230 years ago. The highest classical honour in the London University has this year for the first time fallen to a lady, Miss Mary Louise Worley. The Duchess of Montrose was married to her first husband in 1830, exactly twentysix years before her present husband was born.
