TENNIS.
The Cambridge Handicap Tournament haa progressed very slowly during tlie past week, there having been only two matches. Messrs Macara and Hartly (received 15) having previously tied, played one set to decide who was the better, which Mr Macara won 6-4. Messrs E. Hill (received 30) and S. Chambers also played, when the latter won by 17 games to his opponent's 10. The only remaining cn;s to play are the above two winners and Messrs Norman and l< , . Gane. The prize given by the secretary, Mr F. W. Cooke, a very handsome racket with silver inscription plate, was presented to Miss Moon, the winner on Saturday afternoon, the presentation being made by Mr Russell on Mr Cooke's behalf. Mr Lusk responded for the lady in a very brief and original speech, which caused great laughter. The Club are about to add croquet to the tennis, so that those who do not play the latter game may enjoy themselves.
