Breakell, Lawson, W .McMillan W. T. Ciirr, T. Gemmell, Dr. Waddin»Um, C. Lake, Dalgluish, <■'.. McCann, E. Cnssen, Dinsdale and J. McCann. The balance-sheet was subinitted tn the iin-etiii"-, and showed a credit balance of £44. The him. sec. said the money was in the Bank, and that there was still one unpaid subscription, which was a good one. It was decided to hold a summer meeting, and a protracted discu.ismn ensued as to the best date cm which to have it. It was eventually decided to hold it on Boxing Day as it was thought that that date being near the Hamilton one, In ir.se-owuers would thereby be induced to come for the two events ; whereas, if there had been only the one meeting, they would probably send their horses elsewhere. \ draft programme, which had been prepared by Messrs Tuck and Bach, was next considered, and after sinno discussion was adopted. It i« as follows:—Novel Race ; £20; 1J u.iles; minimum weight, (Ist; winner to become the property of the club. Boxing Day Handicap; £10; 2 miles; sweep of ]0s from starters for second horse. Selling Hack Hurdle Race ; £15 ; U miles, over (i hurdles; minimum weight, 10.-st ; winner to become property of club. Selling Steeplechase ; £20 ; 21 miles ; £20, 12st, and lOlbs for every £o less money ; nil, Ost 21bs. Cambridge Stakes Handicap ; £20; 1 mile ; sweep of 10s from starters fur second horse. Trotting Handicap; £10; 3 miles; minimum weight, lOst; entrance, 10s, and sweep of 5s for second horse. Messrs Russell, Bach, Carr, Tuck, b. Cussen, J. McNicol and C. Lake were appointed a Working Committee, and were deputed to see Mr Allwill re the course, appoint handicappers, judge, &c. A special vote of thanks was accorded Messrs Tuck and Bach for the very successful manner in which they had managed the business of the club, and placed it in so good a financial position. The usual vote of thanks to the chairman closed the proceedings.
