DEFEAT OF KEMP. [By Electric Teleuuai-h.— Copyright. 1 Sydney, October 27. The sculling race between H. Searle and P. Kemp (champion), for £500 a-side and the championship ot the world, was rowed on tho Paramatta River this afternoon, and created the greatest interest, even more so than on the occasion of the second match between Hanlon and Beach. Searle was in splendid form, and was a great favourite. After an exciting race he won easily by 20 lengths. Time, 22min. 44-Aeecs.
