CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
A special meeting of the above Council was held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Preseat: The Mayor and Crs. Webber, Bach, Clements', Bond, Ferguson, Richardson and Priestly. The Rating Act.—On tho motion of the Mayor, seconded by Cr. Priestly, it was resolved to adopt the. Ratine Act Amendment Act, 18SS. as to all rates now due and to become due. Furze.—Crs. Bach and Richardson did not bring up their report regarding the property owners and occupiers who had not cleared the streets or furze, as many were at work at it at the present time. Gravul.—The tenders for carting gravel were as follows :— J. Corcoran, (i.W, informal ; W. Fogarty, M. Dillon and J. lirockelsby, conjointly, Kd (accepted).
