A return presented to the Chamber of Commerce shows the excess of emigration from New Zealand over immigration since the beginning of the year to bo no less than 93-10 persons. The return of immigration and emigration from the colony for September shows the arri"a!s to be 831, while the departures were litt>2. Of the latter, 1121) left for Victoria, and 504 for New South Wales.
