FATAL EXPLOSION.
(RY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT). London, October (i. News has been received that while shell practising was being engaged in on board the If..M.S. Caroline, stationed in the Pacific, one of her guns became jammed, and a terrific explosion followed. The ship was much damaged, and one sailor was killed, and a man severely wounded.
