A telegram from llanmer Plains reports that Friday night's eavthcpiako was the severest felt there excepting tho one which destroyed the Cathedral spire a few weeks ago. Booming noises were frequent and hind and caused considerable alarm. Several chimneys oil the upper portion of tho plains were destroyed, and newly plastered walls of houses injured by the last earthquake were cracked. The llanmer Plains correspondent practically asks, " Where is it going to stop at V "
