ATTEMPTED SUICIDE

(by telegraph.—press association.) DuNudin, Wednesday. At the Police Court to-day a girl under 15 years of age named Harris was charged with attempted suicide by drinking carbolic oil. She explains that her parents had been behaving harshly to her for admitted misconduct, and she drank the stuff to give them a fright. Oapt. Wray advise:! her to go home and be a better giil, and dismissed the information.
