LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS
(by telegraph—own correspondent Auckland, Monday. A housu in Hackett-street. owned by Mr A. !'\ Kelly, has been totally destroyed by lire. The house was insured for £250, and the furniture for £100 iu the Royal. Thomas Nash has been fined £23 for a breach of the customs regulations. West Bros.'chair factory at Helensville has been burned down. It was insured in the Colonial office fur .£'4oo. The owners estimate their loss at £1000 above the insurance.
