THE PARNELL CASE.
(l)Y ELKCI'ItIC TBLECItAI'II—COPYBIfSHT). London, September 16. The Times lias entered an appearance in the action brought against that paper by Mr Parnell in Scotland. Sir Chas Russell who is acting for the Irish members before the Commission has made an application for a sub-Commission to visit America and examine witnesses in connection with the charge. Sir Clias. Russell has also applied for an inspection of the letters alleged to have been written by Mr Parnell. Counsel for the Times have applied for an order to examine the books and papers in the possession of the Land and National Leagues.
